Bryant Nguyen Bio

 B.S. ChE 2021

I graduated from San Jose States Chemical Engineering program in 2021. During my last semester, I began my career as a technician for a gene synthesis manufacturing company called Twist Bioscience in South San Francisco. I was there for about 2 years until the company had restructured and moved operations to Oregon. As a technician, I was responsible for manufacturing high-quality custom products, operating automated liquid handlers, use of cell biology and molecular processes and techniques, troubleshooting deviations, and train new hire technicians.  

I found an opportunity from an alumna at San Jose State looking for a consultant engineer to support a staff aug project for BioMarin. My key responsibilities are to provide support on cleaning and sterilization validation projects for process equipment, and commission and qualify new equipment/parts to production facilities.
